Cornflower Blue

wild blue cornflowers grow neatly in a row
across a narrow patch
of well tended lush green grass

it is a tiny patch
no wider then foot across
nor longer then two feet at the most

but love and obsession speaks in every
blade of grass that grows, so perfect
not a sign of brambles nor weeds

and the bright blue cornflowers
are tended with love

at the head of the tiny plot
rests a brilliant white stone
a lamb and a weeping angel
forever lie side by side

while the cornflowers he loved so much
nod their beautiful heads in sorrow
and she, she comes yet again to trim
the blades of grass

The Heath

Vague lights flicker on the heath
As shattered spirits glow to lure
The bogs that call at midnight chime
Where a forgotten enemy walks no more
Thirst runs deep on the barren heath
Vague mists rise and shadow the mind
Singing so soft like sirens of the sea

Deaf

Free fall
Chilled pale skin
Mist
Fog
Rise
The circle turns
And
The tide covers a… Continue

Dark Matter...Angel Of Light

Dark Matter...Angel Of Light

born of dark matter...stardust..light
mixed with blood-blackened dirt
we come wailing into a void of death
our days numbered-measured-named...
woven in darkness, warp and weft
the threads lengthen...a legion hand in hand
a reaping has begun for this...this is his...

some, gone before the spark is lit
much mourned with tears...envy
their road never taken...sweet brief
luminous shimmering-pale spirits___
shine-bright...a beacon, a sign of glory
then weary-weakened by… Continue

End of life, Seeds

first frost treads silent
cat like paws with death in mind
seeds die cold cold earth
